My wife brought me this cute little chia pet-like plant thing for Easter. I watered it and left it in the window at work. After a few days, it had a couple of sprouts:

If I'm not mistaken, I created this in the late Spring/early Summer of 2003, right about the time I quit my job and was contemplating a move to Barcelona.

I've just spent the last six hours working on getting my friend Rob's blog, "The Daly Planet" converted from a blogging tool called, imaginatively enough "Blogger," to the one I use for this blog, "Movable Type."

My friend Liz has been kind enough to host me at her apartment in Dover, NH for the last few weeks, so this week I finished a little thank you present by way of making a pair of Christmas presents for her to give her new boyfriend, Andy.
